Ashlyn Laning

I’m a passionate and detail-driven theatrical professional with a BA in Theatre (Technical Design and Production) from Concordia University Irvine and extensive experience in stage management, sound design, and production management. Currently serving as the Stage and Production Manager at Bishop Gorman High School, I mentor over 100 students annually through hands-on technical theatre education and full-scale productions.

My work bridges creative storytelling and logistical precision—whether I’m calling cues backstage, designing projection visuals, mixing audio, or crafting curriculum that brings theatre to life for the next generation. I’m especially skilled in QLab, digital audio workstations (Logic, ProTools), analog and digital mixing consoles, and projection/media design for theatrical storytelling.

With credits ranging from Les Misérables to Godspell to Noises Off, I thrive in collaborative environments where communication, artistry, and technical mastery meet. I’m always eager to connect with fellow theatre professionals, educators, and creatives who share a love for impactful, well-crafted productions.
